Weekend prima di natale

-Beh, dai non ci trovo niente di male, tutto sommato.-
-A 70 anni masturbarsi in tutù sul tavolinetto del soggiorno forse non è poi così grave, farlo sapendo che sarebbe arrivata la donna delle pulizie si.-
-Tesoro, facile che se ne sia dimenticato.-

-il 24 in serata, lo sai. Spero di cavarmela in fretta, ma ben che vada arriverò per l’ora di cena.-

Silvia non è sicuramente sconvolta tanto dalla donna delle pulizie, non l’è mai importato nulla delle persone di servizio. La cosa che la sconvolge è che suo padre abbia una sessualità che lei ritiene deviata. Baf, io non so di preciso come al giorno d’oggi si faccia a definire “deviata” un qualunque tipo di sessualità.
Esco dai bagni, percorro il corridoio e rientro nella sala riunioni grande: il buffet natalizio aziendale, una delle più sconvolgenti torture dei giorni nostri. E pensare che c’è chi, come Marco della logistica, ci viene anche se essendo in ferie potrebbe benissimo fingere di essere alle bahamas. Probabilmente è convinto che sia buona politica di lecchinaggio presenziare; un attimo, sono ingiusto, magari è un giovane idealista… coglione, in entrambi i casi.
Voglio uscire da qui il più in fretta possibile, come il 90% dei presenti, facce tirate in sorrisi di plastica. Laura, segretaria della contabilità con contratto in scadenza, si sta sfondando di prosecco, tanto sa che il contratto non glielo rinnoveranno. Lancia frecciate un po’ a tutti, un bel diversivo. Finirà con le gambe all’aria o nello scannatoio di uno dei commerciali, quasi certo. Paolo, vice direttore marketing, è uscito dal bagno prima che io andassi a telefonare a Silvia: per sopravvivere al disgusto s’è sparato due belle pippatine.
Finalmente è il turno del discorso motivazionale. Gli entusiasti drizzano le orecchie, in visibilio, in orgasmica ammirazione per gli splendidi risultati raggiunti. A loro discolpa va detto che sono pochi e idioti. Poveri loro. Il fatto che questi mirabolanti risultati siano manipolazioni di risultati decisamente meno mirabolanti, ottenuti facendoci lavorare tutti come schiavi e cannibalizzando aree di mercato lasciate scoperte da competitor schiantati dalla crisi pare non disturbarli.
Perlopiù comunque si sta ad ascoltare in buon ordine, pensando diligentemente ognuno ai cazzi propri. Tipo io penso a Rita. Per esempio. Quando l’AD finisce qualcuno applaude, gli altri gli vanno dietro e segue il sciogliete le righe. Non di coca, Paolo cazzo!
Sono tra i primi ad andarmene, infilandomi sotto i portici mentre i negozi chiudono. Venerdì prima di natale, Rita torna a casa dei suoi domani e stasera vuole che andiamo ad una festa. Le ho spiegato che ho 35 anni e non ho più voglia di feste; ha ribattuto che lei di anni ne ha 23 e ne ha voglia eccome e che una volta tanto, visto che mia moglie non c’è, vuole andarci con me. M’è parsa ragionevole, come richiesta.
Suono al citofono e lei mi apre. Mentre salgo i 4 piani di scale mi chiedo come è successo che mi sia ficcato in questo casino: ogni tanto mi dico che è colpa di Silvia e della sua rigidità, altre volte mi dico che forse non dovevo sposarla solo perchè suo padre è uno dei soci dell’azienda in cui lavoro, altre volte ancora mi convinco che è perchè non siamo ancora riusciti ad avere figli; poi però evito di girarci attorno e lo ammetto: mi va di farlo e non trovo nessuna motivazione valida per non farlo.
Rita mi bacia, mi fa sedere sulla poltrona dell’ikea da quattro soldi, mi accarezza mentre chiudo gli occhi e butto a terra il cappotto.
-Puoi spegnere la luce, ti spiace? Ho un mal di testa incredibile, fottuta Milano, i loro geni del marketing e tutte le loro idee del cazzo. Grazie.-
Rita è una di poche parole. Spegne la luce grande, lascia solo accesa un’abat jour a cui sopra ha messo uno scialle da zingara, mi versa un bicchiere dalla bottiglia di whisky che tengo qui da lei, mi sbottona i pantaloni, si leva i suoi e mi sale sopra.
Mentre lei si fa una doccia guardo fuori dalla finestra la gente che cammina, le macchine, i tram. Mi accorgo di avere ancora la cravatta al collo, solo allentata. La levo, la piego attentamente e la metto dentro alla borsa di cuoio. Penso a Silvia, in montagna, mi chiedo se si sia portata dietro il suo amante o no. Sono certo che ne abbia uno, mi limito a fare finta di non averlo capito.
Rita compare sulla porta del bagno, sorridendo, mi passa vicino, va in camera, da lì mi lancia un maglioncino che ho lasciato da lei qualche tempo fa.
-Mettiti questo magari, non è proprio una festa da camicia e giacca.-
-Immaginavo.-
-Vuoi che cucini qualcosa?-
-No, andiamo a mangiare fuori… sushi?-
-Tu vuoi sempre mangiare sushi… Una pizza?-
-Non scherziamo. Via Po?-
-Non vado per principio in un posto da 80 euro a cranio. Trattoria in collina?-
-Non ho la macchina, ma possiamo prendere un taxi.-
-No, ascolta, dovremo già prenderlo per andare alla festa se non hai la macchina. Va bene il giapponese, ma io niente sushi, ok?-
-Ok.-
Per strada, dietro un angolo, semi nascosto nel buio, fermo di fianco ad un portone, c’è un tipo vestito da batman, ed è estramamente calato nella parte. Magari è davvero batman, chi lo sa. Comunque sia non fa una mossa. Io sobbalzo, Rita ride. Questa città sta diventando sempre più folle.
Al ristorante mi ubriaco di sake, non mangio da ieri sera e butto giù giusto due nigiri e un po’ di sashimi, mentre osservo Rita riempirsi di tempura e carne alla piastra e bersi tre Asahi. Mi affascina stare ad osservare tutta quella vitalità. Rita è sempre in movimento, sempre con un mezzo sorriso astuto sulle labbra. Sicura di sè, quasi tracotante. Almeno nei gesti e nel modo di fare.
Probabilmente è questo che mi piace di lei, io manco mi ricordo com’era essere così. Se mai lo sono stato, chiaro… non credo dipenda dall’età.
Combino un casino col conto, tra bancomat e carta di credito, sono davvero un pochetto andato. Rita ride, abbondantemente. Mi trascina a bere un rum in un posto infame pieno di gente, la trascino a bere un bourbon in un localino semivuoto e senza musica, vecchio come noi due messi insieme.
Alla fine prendiamo un taxi e andiamo alla festa. Dopo il ricordo di lei abbracciata e io che guardo le luci dei lampioni e delle macchine attorno a noi: buco nero.
Poi mi risveglio a casa sua, nudo, nel suo letto. Lei non c’è. È mattina e ho parecchio mal di testa: “sono andata a comprare un regalo, torno presto” dice il biglietto che ha lasciato sul suo cuscino.
Guardo se Silvia m’ha chiamato, rimpiango la mia ora di jogging del sabato mattina, è mezzogiorno e voglio solo buttarmi nella jacuzzi con un whisky e soda e rimanere lì a bollire.
Scrivo a Rita un contro-biglietto: “vado a casa a smaltire, ci sentiamo. chiama quando arrivi a casa dei tuoi”. Quando sono già fuori dal portone mi ricordo di non averle dato il suo regalo di natale, un iPod touch su cui sbava da mesi. Glielo darò dopo natale. Il fatto che neppure lei m’abbia dato il suo per me mi attraversa per un attimo il cervello, ma proprio solo un attimo.
Noto che batman non c’è più, mentre vado verso l’ufficio per prendere la mia macchina e tornare a casa. Mi pare giusto, batman mica sta in giro tutto il giorno, il sabato prima di natale… sarà a comprare i regali pure lui, no?
